My second forary into wild camping saw me back at Pont Ar Daf carpark but this time taking the “tourist” path up to Corn Du and Pen Y Fan. I had decided to visit the two peaks and then go south on the Cefn Crew to where there is a crash site of a Spitfire. It had been about twenty years aince I last located the spot and there was almost nothing left then – this time I could find nothing. However I pitched up for the night, this time in a OEX Phoxx II. A better sleep, got up just in time to take some shots of the sunrise from Corn Du and made my way safely back down.
About Me
Hello. My name is Roger and despite nearly 70 years experience of life I still haven't made any real sense of it.
I'm married to Linda who kindly shares many of my outdoor adventures with me. We have two grown up sons and two young granddaughters.
Retired after 40 years working for the same company I spend my time with my family, Hill-walking, Wild Camping, Scouting, and anything else I can fit in.
