My second wild camp of 2022, this time in Fforest Fawr, the area immediately west of the main peaks.

My first trip of 2022, this time to the Black Mountains. Vsiting Rhos Dirion and the Grwynne Fawr valley.

A snowy day hike in the Brecon Beacons National Park

My last wild camping trip to the Brecon Beacons in 2021. This time to Mynydd Du – The Black Mountain.

First time out in the Abisko Light 1, with a visit to the memorial to a WWII Canadian Wellington Bomber crew.

After I’d gathered some kit together I set out for my first solo wild camp and chose Fan Fawr in the Brecon Beacons as the spot.

The highest mountain in South Wales during a half-term school hoilday. Appprently half of Wales had the same idea that day!
